The Internet has become humanity's invisible central nervous system that connects us and can sometimes overwhelm us. Yet, the most important technology is within us - our brain, body, and consciousness. A fast-paced career in the hi-tech industry in combination with a deep yoga and meditation practice have allowed me to integrate my inner and outer technologies. Wisdom from my yoga mat and meditation cushion guide my professional career and, in turn, my professional life provides the perfect classroom to deepen my wisdom practice.

Men's Wisdom Circle, SF said...

33 men enjoyed a spirited conversation last Saturday.

Excerpts from the circle:
"Ground yourself in a daily ritual to optimize your most important technology, youself" - Gopi

Five tips to optimize your life:
1. Focus on the essentials. Make a list on what's most essential in your life
2. Do one thing at a time (avoid 'continuous partial attention')
3. Practice at least 1 min of mindfulness every day (starting small makes it easy to move towards goal)
4. Determine what's absolutely non-negotiable, like appointments for mindfulness, and stick with it
5. Friend yourself (as you friend others on FB), listen to the tweet of your heart and respond to the chat request from the brain
